Wiki for Study/Work Groups

Your study group wants to produce a document within a fixed time. Every member get registrated as user. Other users are not admitted to your pages. Guests could read certain pages, if you want (using access control lists). You get a more or less closed user group.

Our recommended configuration:

• 25 users

• 25 megabytes storage for web pages (sufficient for more than 100 pages)

• 25 megabytes storage for attachments (for pictures, documents, etc.)

• 5 e-mail accounts

Usually five e-mail accounts are sufficient (e.g. for contact, administration, moderation, editor, etc.). All e-mail accounts are managed by web browsers and can be accessed from every internet access point. Or you can forward them to other e-mail addresses. You could reserve an e-mail account for every member, if you want, too.

Another optional feature is our domain service. We register and administrate your own domain of any TLD type (e.g. '.org', '.com' or '.de').

Later on the this configuration can be extended to your needs.

For your page layout Canities offers five different templates:

• threecol (available soon)

This templates can customized by you or Canities. Changes will be made to a CSS file.

All data will be subject to a daily backup.
